Núria Orriols Guiu (Berga, 1992) graduated from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) with a degree in Journalism and in Political Science and Administration.  Since 2015, she has been working as an editor for Ara newspaper and since 2023 as assistant director of the political section.   She has participated in El Suplement and El Matí on Catalunya Radio, in Més 324 on TV3, as well as in El Món on Rac 1.  She has also collaborated with Aquí Cuní on Cadena Ser in Catalonia and with FAQS on TV3. She was granted the Ramon Barnils award for investigative journalism for her report on age-based leave in the Catalan Parliament (2022), a distinction from the Josep Maria Planes award (2023), and the Batec award (2024). She is also the author of the book Convergència. Metamorfosi o extinció (2023).
